Lockdown 2020 Creativity
As I mentioned in my last post, I have spent some time recently getting creative at home and trying to keep my skills fresh. I've found 2020 a bit challenging for photography motivation with commissions being cancelled, landmarks closed, holidays postponed and various restrictions on every day life when you could normally get good images. I decided to get a bit experimental in the house and decided to see what I could do with monochrome techniques.
I, in effect set myself two briefs, the first being what I could do with objects around my home and secondly, refine my portraiture work - especially lighting. I am quite pleased with some of the results and it's reengaged me with the creative side of photography. It could be a long winter so I intend to try a few other bits and pieces.
