End of Week 1

So, a the end of Week 1, I am delighted with the amount of locations I have taken in and also the new sites I have discovered. It just shows that despite living in this beautiful and photogenic country for all on my life, there are still many sites to unearth!
This week, I have visited:
Linlithgow Palace
St Michael's Church
National Korean War Memorial
Cairnpapple Hill
The Kelpies
Loch Leven Castle (pictured)
Dunfermlime Palace & Abbey
Andrew Carnagie Museum
Blackness Castle
Boat trip under the 3 Forth Bridges
On Sunday, I am travelling up to the Caingorms to spend a few days touring Aviemore and the surrounding area so please keep an eye out for those images coming your way. As regular visitors know, that is one of my favorite parts of the world so I'm really looking forward to it.
As you've probably noticed, I have visited a lot of castles and historic sites in my first week. Partly, that is because I love taking images that have a story behind them but more importantly, I have a Historic Scotland membership that allows entry into those places free of charge. That being said, the main reason I maintain my membership is because I feel that we have a duty to preserve these sites for future generations to enjoy. If you are interested, please have a look at the membership options For info, I get no benefit from this so it's not a sales pitch, just a personal passion.
Thanks
Dave
