Today, it was a photographers dream with a notable event taking place with the partial demolition of an East Lothian landmark, Cockenzie Power Station. I spent some time last week planning the type of pictures I wanted to achieve and finaally decided on a time lapse setup from a distance away looking down on the structures. For those of you who know East Lothain, I was up new Fa'Side Castle.
This type of shooting requires a lot of planning as you only get one opportunity to get it right. As a result, I was feeling a bit of the pressure as this is the first time I have had to nail a shot in the moment. I was a shame that the sun wasnt shining for this so I chose to go for a more dramatic Black and White shot and I am very happy with the outcome. As always, if you have any comments or observations, I would appreciate the feedback.
